Coming up on the end of chapter one. A little nonsensical due to the limited vocabulary, but getting better. Still need to work on my penmanship.

Is there [the] a grey cat in the country? Amy knit the red hen a hat but the hen will not lay her eggs in the hay. I will go to the market and get milk and cream, then the cat will kill the rat in the hay and the hen can lay her eggs there.
I messed up the first form, it says "is the" I meant to say "is there"
